Mrs Ajayi Esther came on board when she was six months pregnant.She had previously suffered two miscarriages.She became a beneficiary on the 13th of December 2023.The foundation paid for all her medical bills and she received bi- monthly allowance and delivery bag containing various baby and mother items. When she was 41weeks gone in the pregnancy the doctors advised that she should be induced to deliver the baby.She was admitted into the hospital and was induced later in the night.She delivered early hours of the following day.She happened to be rhesus negative.Lmmittle wonder she had recurrent miscarriages. The baby’s blood was collected for test and it was discovered that he is rhesus positive hence the need for a rhogam injection.The foundation ensured that she received the rhogam injection after delivery of her baby to prevent future miscarriages.She delivered a bouncing baby boy Mother and child are healthy and our team maintain contact with the family.

Mrs Oluwafemi Grace came on board on the VSF Sensitisation day at the University of Medical Science Teaching Hospital Akure Ondo State. She was 8 months pregnant at that time and had previously had a miscarriage. The foundation sponsored her feeding till the time of her delivery. She also received delivery bag containing various baby and mother items. She didn’t experience any sign of labour as at her expected delivery date. By 42 weeks she started to have regular contractions. She visited the hospital and was placed on admission. After 24 hours at the hospital labour was not progressing. The doctors decided that a Cesearian section be carried out to prevent any harm that could happen as a result of prolonged labour. The foundation paid for the C- section and all her medical bills during and after delivery. The surgery was successful and she delivered a baby boy on the 2nd of February 2024. Mother and baby are thriving.
