Mrs Mustapha Khadijat became a beneficiary when she was six months pregnant.She had previously suffered a stillbirth and also an ectopic pregnancy.She had just moved to Akure city from Kogi state where she was living before.

She was formerly married to a man who maltreated her for her inability to give him a child .It was while in the house of this former husband she an a stillbirth.She left the marriage and had to get married to her current husband.

She received from the foundation feeding allowance bi-monthly and regular check ups to support her emotionally.VSF also provided all the hospital items necessary for her delivery.

At 36 weeks she fell into labour she was rushed to the hospital.She laboured for some hours but when the labour was not progressing and the baby was in distress, she was taken into the theater for an emergency Cesearian Section.The surgery was successful and she delivered a  baby boy.VSF paid fully for the Cesearian Section and all her medical expenses before and after delivery.Mother and child are thriving.VSF is proud to be a part of her success journey to motherhood
