AUGUST 2022 NEWSLETTER

About Us

We are a non-governmental organization that supports rural pregnant women with histories of infertility, miscarriage and stillbirth through pregnancy, birth and beyond. This means we cover all pregnancy related care right from the time when we take on a woman (usually at 4 months of pregnancy) till six weeks after delivery.

Recap

Our Campaigns

We had a sensitization programme in collaboration with one of our partners, Pangels Development Foundation (PDF) at Mother and Child Hospital, Akure, Ondo State. We educated pregnant women on malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The women were as excited as we were. It was quite enlightening.

Our Babies

Our first baby Ayodele remains a very happy bundle of joy. This month, he would be 6 months old. We are glad and excited.

Our Partnerships

We signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the ministry of rural and community development, Akure, Ondo State which has opened up access to rural pregnant women who meet our criteria and can be taken on as beneficiaries.

What’s New?

Our Campaigns

We are focusing our educational support on the women attending the Mother and Child Hospital, Akure. We are working closely with the senior management of the hospital and we intend to carry out sensitization programmes as recommended by them.

Our Babies

We are working on onboarding even more beneficiaries following our positive relationships with Mother and Child Hospital, Akure. The Hospital Management Team have been very proactive with their recommendations and we are taking advantage of their generosity.

Thankfully, our current pregnant beneficiaries are thriving and in great health. We are praying for successful deliveries.

Our Partnerships

Our Partnership with the Ministry of Health, Akure, Ondo State has enabled us have access to pregnant women in large numbers which has made our engagement with them easier and fruitful. This month, we would intensify our bond with our partners.
